Remember the story I wrote on April 16th about the potholes on Gateway Boulevard and Commerce Lakes? A day after the story ran I got an e-mail from Supervisor Gary Neubauer asking if there was anything he could do to help.
I shared the information with him about how David Caldwell of WCI was very helpful with the sidewalk repair on Gateway Boulevard and Neubauer took it from there. He made contact with Mr. Caldwell and asked him to take care of this problem area. Then, he followed several times asking about the status of the repairs.
The picture in this story is from 11AM today. As you can see, there were many potholes, on both roads, that connected and have been getting worse by the day. Today, they are being filled and we appreciate the work being done by WCI. And, we appreciate the effort made by Supervisor Gary Neubauer.
The only question that remains is will someone, who will remain nameless in this story, will say "I fixed the potholes" Vote for me this November. Nyet!
