Oh Bobbbbyyyyyy! Where are you Bobbbbby? The Clock is Ticking!

Fort Myers, FL
Back on April 2nd, Bob the Builder told Gateway residents "I fixed the sidewalk" on Gateway Boulevard. He said he had the cel-phone number of the most important worker-bees at WCI and that things were gonna get done.

He was flexing his chairman-muscle and was ready to make things happen.
In fact, he recently took a tour of the community (not sure if it was his first tour or if it was a guided tour) where he noted items in need of repair. How noble! How long has he been on the board now?

Both Bob the Builder and Tonto told an empty G.S.D. meeting room that our relationship was much better now that WCI was coming out of bankruptcy. Well, Bob, you're on the clock.

Many of you, if not all of you, know this corner of Commerce Lakes and Gateway Boulevard is a mess, and it has been for quite a long time. However, for Bob's sake, let's just call this day one and see how long it takes him to pull out his smart-phone, dial 1-800-WCI and have the potholes filled. This stretch has about 5 or 6 fairly deep craters carved into the earth.

This picture (read the cone closely) does not do the area justice because the holes are filled with those annoying little pollen filled peckers from the tree above. You may remember how Bob took care of the big hole on Gateway Boulevard a few months ago. He put a big orange cone in the hole for about a month before it was filled. So, I thought, maybe that's how it gets done. I bought my own cone and dropped it on the hole to get it noticed.

So let's see how long Mr. fix-it takes. In fact, let's start an office pool on a target "fill date". See left column!
