In conjunction with the two Charter schools we organized the first ever Community Cleanup Day Saturday morning. Nearly 100 bags of leaves were collected along Gateway Boulevard and in front of the Girl Scout Building.
It was a great way for parents and kids to pick up volunteer hours and show their community support. Both charter schools agreed to award volunteer hours and we appreciate that. Also, a big thank you to Delores and Cliff Linscott and Dave and Melissa Grant for donating money toward our Pizza Party. Thank you to Jay Mason, Pete and Robin Bennet and everyone who helped pick up. It was a great day for Gateway.
