Last night's G.S.D. meeting was very sentimental for me. It was like the good old days again. A great Carol Stanley quote. Rambling on for over an hour on one issue. And, Bob Nielson showing his true unprofessional side.
On a day his son-in-law passed away from cancer, Ed Sichel could only attend last night's Supervisors meeting via telephone. Everyone would have understood if Sichel bailed from the meeting to be with his family. However he was there and participating. And that's always good news for residents because we need him there.
Bob Nielson knows that the connections via telephone conference are not great. There are times when someone on the other end of the line are speaking and they cannot hear someone in the board room until they stop speaking. Well, the first thing Nielson did was, while Sichel was speaking say "I'm just going to keep talking over you". OK, fine. Everyone knows Bob's power-hungry.
However, it was the verbal insult I hope you all remember in November. This exchange is Bob Nielson in a nutshell.
Sichel: "Please don't question my decisions. You asked me a question and I gave you an honest answer".
Nielson: "Yes. Your honest answer. That's what concerns me"
It's the repeated condescension Nielson has toward Sichel when he disagrees with the path Nielson is taking this community down. And it's just another reason he needs to be thrown out in November.
