That high pitched whine you heard coming from the direction of the landfill last night was not howling wolves or Florida panthers, it was the sound of the Stoneybrook HOA crying like babies. The cry was "we are under attack". The target ... The Gateway Gazette. Of course. I believe I need to make a slight correction though. You are not being attacked. You are being EXPOSED!
My advice to Stoneybrook residents is to get involved, get very involved. Learn who your candidates are and think hard about voting the Bucar cabal off the board. Bucar is up for election on April 1st and she has opposition. That's good for you, if you get involved. Warren Davies is running for one of the seats and he's a Bucar cheerleader. That's bad for you, if he gets voted in. And, Joe Mikulka is a current board member. His seat is not up this year. That's bad news, nothing you can do about it. Allow a new board to work on real issues facing the community not personal vendettas they want you to pay for.
Bucar told the audience last night that the only reason Waste Management sued me was because "they have more money than God". Holy cats! I didn't know God had that much money. What a revelation! Let me correct the record again. Waste Management is going after you because you tried to ruin their business. That's nothing to sneeze at. Waste Management has employees who need to feed their family just like you. Where do you get off? You and Fish made claims against the company that would have easily been addressed in the permit process. Hey, you win some, you lose some. In this case your hoity toidy PHD wasn't enough to scare the big elephant in the room. And, now the elephant has decided to make an example of you. Welcome to the big leagues.
There really is a solution for the Bucar clan. Let me bestow it upon you. Produce the resolution, signed by the full board, that states Stoneybrook H.O.A. Board President Sheri Bucar has the full authority, on behalf of all residents, to go after Waste Management, including all costs incurred by her. That should do it. And, when you produce that document, I will write I apologize Sheri Bucar 100 times on the blackboard. I think her quote from lat night sums it up: "I had no time to go to the board". That my friends is called power that has gone to your head. Nobody should ever feel so powerful that they can make decisions that will cost residents, going about their daily lives, so much money.
A quote worth looking at twice: "there was no time to go to the board, I had to protect the community". As usual the people are too stupid to protect themselves. They need one savior. You people need to get over yourselves. The nerve...protect "the community". You and Fish tried to pull a not in my backyard and got busted. Gateway residents have already paid enough in legal fees because Fish convinced the G.S.D. to get involved. We are already out tens of thousands of dollars thanks to you two. Enough already. Pay your own bills and leave the people alone.
Folks for two years I've been railing against H.O.A.'s that have run amuck. Power hungry people doing more than keeping a community clean and tidy. If the residents are forced to pay these legal fees this is just another example that brilliantly illustrates my point. In many cases, NOT ALL, it's people with too much time on their hands trying to prove to others they have more power than they really do. Don't be duped.
