Do You Know The Mushroom Man?

Fort Myers, FL

I've learned a lot about Mushrooms over the past several days. And I don't mean the kind you put on a salad. Apparently the area behind the Gateway Dog Park is a hotbed for drug activity. Suspicion grew about the area when it was discovered that some of the dogs seemed "loopy". When 3 or 4 started barking out Pink Floyd tunes, it was confirmed, there are mushrooms in them hills.

And as your neighborhood  protector, the eyes and ears of the community and accused dog thief, the Gateway Gazette was there. Our ever-expanding lineup of ace reporters was on the scene this past Thursday night to catch the visitors in the act after 2 hours in the woods. Watch the video of the stunned motorcycle man who spent two hours in the woods. What was he doing in there? We'll let him explain.

The area behind the Dog Park is ripe with Cow Dung. And, as I learned through my extensive research for this story, Magic Mushrooms, as they are called grow in Cow Poo. These 2 pictures below are from the area the visitors like to frequent. And, it's everywhere. You cannot take a step without nearly sliding on Cow Crap. All I could keep thinking was who would touch that stuff? IT WAS IN COW POO!

Friday night was even busier in the pasture of doody. Our reporters were there. And they joined forces with Sheriff's department to help clean up the community and rid our neighborhood of this black mark before our home prices have a chance to drop like a rock...

Actual photos. The mushrooms they pick and the freshly dropped you-know-what.
