You have to wonder whether Stoneybrook president Margaret Fineberg is picking a team in the April 1st Stoneybrook election. Fineberg sent an e-mail to 255 Stoneybrook residents defending board member Sheri Bucar and candidate Warren Davies.
Bucar and Davies were the subject of the negative campaign letter mailed to all Stoneybrook residents by an unknown source. Here is the Fineberg e-mail.
Dear Residents,
Many of you received a letter in the mail in regard to Warren Davies and Sherry Bucar. The content of this letter was mean spirited and an obvious smear campaign. The letter does not represent all the facts. I feel this was totally inappropriate. In defense of Sherry Bucar, she has never asked the HOA to pay her legal bills. After speaking with Sherry today, she once again stated that she does not plan to ask the HOA to pay her legal bills. Sherry also stated that she does not intend to sue Stoneybrook at Gateway Master Association for her legal bills.
Margaret Fineberg
President, Stoneybrook at Gateway Master Association
Stoneybrook voters should remember this document. You may want to question Bucar about it before you vote. This is Bucar's attempt to get her money back for about $30,000 in legal fees. Bucar, as you know, is being sued by Waste Management. Bucar and Pelican Preserve resident Paul Fish tried to prevent WM from building a transfer station. WM, probably to prove a point about people who make baseless accusation, is making an example of Bucar and Fish and it is costing them both dearly. Bucar never received approval from the SB board to act on the boards behalf. But now she is claiming she was and wants her legal bills covered. The Fineberg letter makes the entire episode even more confusing for you voters, but, of course, more juicy for me.
