A concerned resident sent this one in to us and it's just another reminder that we should all obey the 35 MPH speed limit on Gateway Boulevard.

"The other day someone ran over a fairly large turtle that was just barely in the road (it was easily avoidable) and then left the poor creature to die slowly in a terrible rainstorm. I picked her up - yes, it was a she with five eggs inside her- and brought her to the wonderful people at Best Friends on Gateway Boulevard. They got
CROW involved but were unable to save her and her babies. I am pretty disgusted with the "person" who killed this poor defenseless mom and wanted you and your readers to know it is not ok to do this kind of thing! Please remind your readers to watch where they are driving instead of texting, talking, and speeding without any regard to their surroundings".
