Gateway Charter High School golfer Ely Buhrts signed a letter of intent with Virginia Intermont College, a NAIA school in Bristol, Va., on Thursday, March 25, 2010. Ely is a member of the 2009 Griffin Golf team that were District A-18 Champions. Ely is also on the varsity boys baseball team.
